tangled up in fishing line - the poor bird was a mess...
n in his desperate struggle, as he saw me walking near
he stopped n stared - i felt his plea - i'm glad that You are here...
it only took a moment, but my tiny sandaled toe
stepped on the line, he flapped away - n he was free to go!
it only takes alittle while to change a person's day
a look, a smile, a helping hand, or something that you say
there's 'strangers' we will never know, or struggles that they fight
but if the smallest gesture helps

’Fair warning, it's sad. The dog has congestive heart failure and is having a rough week. The owner heard it had snowed 100 km north of her home so she messaged the town to confirm, which they did. The owner took pup for a road trip up north before the snow melted and doggie had a fun day rolling about. They also took her for a walk in the woods and she enjoyed it. Now I am crying again and to be honest I left out the really sad parts!’
